RTB Coaching Services

Athletes come to multisport for a variety of reasons and with different goals in mind.   For some that means improving endurance.  For some technique.  And for others it might involve weight loss or change in body composition.  Whatever your goals happen to be, there are some tools and resources at Raise the Bar that we’ve compiled under a “Coaching Service” umbrella that can help you reach them.

Individual Coaching

Having a personal coach used to be for the elite athlete looking for that slight edge over their competition.  Not anymore!  It’s also for the everyday Joe (or Josephine) that has carved some valuable time out of  their busy schedule to train and don’t want to waste any of it.  A Coach can assure you’re using your available training time to its full potential.  They can also help set reasonable, challenging goals for your peak race or for your season and help you get there.  You’ll have regular communication with them along the way – they’ll celebrate your victories and help you through the tough stuff like injuries.

We have a growing number of personal coaches at Raise the Bar that have varying experiences in the sport of triathlon – one might be a great fit for you!  You can find the coaches in our staff listing Here.

Individualized Coaching is $175/month with a $100 set-up fee

Event-based Group Coaching

Raise the Bar is offering a ‘Group Coaching” option for our athletes who are headed to the same races in 2012.  The difference from individual coaching is that athletes will follow a genera pre-written training plan but have access to a coach for help along the way.  Find out more about Group Coaching Here.

Not Just One Coach…..Over the last 8 years that the organization of Raise the Bar has officially been in existence, there have been some very knowledgeable & experienced folks that have emerged in our community.  Swim, bike, and run specialists, physical therapists, chiropractors, massage therapists, strength and conditioning specialists – all who find their home on our triathlon team.   We are teammates, friends, and training partners.  The value to the athlete that is coached at RTB is that the one personal coach has a host of friends and professionals that are a phone call, text, or email away – making a network of people who are invested in celebrating your progress as an athlete.  See our team of professionals and coaches Here.
