6:30 - 8:15pm

Triathlon Training
      at Seward Park for
         the BRI Triathlon at SEAFAIR

Inspired  by Sunny Southern California workouts of the LA Triathlon Club, Raise the Bar presents a 6-week triathlon training opportunity new to the Pacific Northwest and designed specifically for athletes of the Seafair Triathlon.

We’ll bring the measured, predictable, and effective workouts found at an indoor pool to the open water with a rectangular buoy course set up at specific intervals for a great Swim Workout.  Swimmers will be magically sorted into groups of similar speed and will be given a workout to hammer out with your buddies.  Experienced swimmers, bring your ‘A’-Game and mix it up with other Seattle athletes.   Beginners, we’ll help you get comfortable and READY for Seafair.

Following the swim, we’ll  coach a Run Workout focusing on endurance, speed and strength on the Seafair Run course suitable for any runner or walker.  Free weekend  bike rides/clinics will be offered coinciding with “Seattle’s Bicycle  Sundays”- taking advantage of the closed miles of Lake Washington Boulevard that are part of the triathlon course.

FREE ADDITIONS:

“Triathlon Basics” - a lecture offered for beginners.

Learn everything you need to know about racing the Seafair  or other Sprint Triathlons.  We’ll cover equipment, training, race-day strategies, etc. This class is open to anyone
