The 2017 camp at CDA , previously for only Long-Course athletes, is for triathletes tackling any distance. Looking for a weekend to train and talk triathlon with your buddies? This is it! Supported training rides will be available on the Ironman course - but on other beautiful roads and trails as well if your training tastes tend to shorter distances and varied terrain. This is a particularly great opportunity for the RTB team athletes to hang out together and we encourage as many team members as possible to attend. There will be coaches on board to answer questions, and facilitate some fun group discussions - but plenty of focus is on training and enjoying time together.
Jenn Edwards, Steve Barlow, and Mark Edwards bring the Iron Distance training camp back to beautiful, breathtaking Whistler, BC. With a keen focus on all things Ironman, campers can expect supported rides & runs as well as prolific educational opportunities including information on training, race execution, nutrition, power, etc. While most appropriate for Ironman Canada athletes, the benefits will apply to any athlete racing Iron Distance or 70.3 (The 70.3 campers may get a little more than they bargain for!) This camp is widely attended by RTB team members and athletes outside of the team. Not part of the RTB Community - please come!
If a weekend away isn't your cup of tea, RTB's Day Training Camp at Nolte State Park is a great option. Athletes racing Sprint, Olympic, or Half Iron Distances in 2017 are invited to attend for a full day of riding, running, and swimming.
The camp takes place on the course of RTB's Black Diamond Triathlon - which hosts both Half Iron and Sprint distance Tris on September 9th. As with the weekend camps, mechanical support is available, as well as a post-camp meal to swap stories and training tips. RTB coaches will be on hand all day to lead you through the training experience.
