So, you signed up for a triathlon (or are thinking about it...)
The swim leg of a triathlon can be an intimidating challenge for an athlete who hasn't spent much focused training time in the water. Often even the most accomplished athletes in other disciplines need some extra help to get a kick start on the swim - but it's totally conquerable. ANYONE can master the swim. It just takes some education and then some good solid training.
Our current offerings:
Session 1: Foundations
The first clinic in our series, designed to help inexperienced swimmers master the essentials of confident freestyle. We break down the swim stroke into fundamental skills: Floatation, Balance, and Breathing mechanics. Leave the series able to swim continuous laps with confidence, ready to tackle any pool or open water environment. If you've been hesitant to start swimming or are looking for the perfect all-in-one coaching platform to gain a confident swimming foundation - this is the course for you!

Session 2: Performance
The second 4-week clinic in our series is engineered for experienced swimmers and triathletes seeking to refine their speed, endurance, and race-day performance. We focus on advanced skills: Power generation, Drag reduction, and Open Water specific techniques. Finish the series with a faster, cleaner stroke and the ability to confidently navigate any race course.

What to Bring
Goggles
Goggles are essential! Everyone seems to like a different variety. The right pair for you will fit snugly and comfortably. We'll have some extras on hand. We'll also have a few sets of FORM smart goggles for anyone who would like to try them out.

Tight-fitted Swim Suit Women's suits are all tight fitted, but men's traditional swimwear is board shorts or swim trunks. Not here! Men - come in a Jammer ! (see above) or a speedo if you prefer. Either will make your experience 100% easier.

FinsWe'll have you use fins while learning the basics. This will really speed up your development. The TYR Flexfins with the longer blade (above) are ideal and are available to purchase at a discount with clinic registration.

Practice what you learn on Sunday during the week - we're swimming 3 days a week! This is a great opportunity to get integrate into pool workouts. Your first group swim is free and drop in swims can be purchased separately here. If you want fully commit and dive in, join as an RTB Multisport member! (you'll also get a $50 discount on our clinics.)
