Coached Swim Workouts
If you are looking to improve your swimming skills or race times, then investing some time at the pool is a must. RTB’s coached swim workouts are designed to improve technique and build speed and endurance. 6-10 week sessions are offered consecutively throughout the year. RTB Team member and non-members alike are welcome to sign up for a session and will enjoy a discounted rate on the swims – $8 for team members, $11 for non-members plus tax. You may also choose to drop in at a swim (price includes tax): $9.86 team members, $13.14 non-members. (Drop in payment can be made to the coach at the time of drop in using cash or check or use the pay pal option on this page). Non-members additional payment allows them to be a RTB Swim Club Member only.
The workouts are primarily freestyle and include warm-up, drills, main sets, and cool-down. All RTB swim coaches have years of experience in both swimming AND coaching. The workouts are similar to a master’s swim workout program.

Who can swim ??
These workouts are open to any athlete who can swim 50 yards or more continuously. If you’re not quite able to swim that distance now, consider taking one of our technique classes.
What to bring?
If you own your own paddles, fins and swim buoy, bring them. If you do not, RTB has extra paddles at the pool and the aquatic center has a limited amount of fins and lots of buoys to borrow. Goggles are a must have and most people use a swim cap as well.
If you miss one of your scheduled swims, you can drop-in at another time IF SPACE IS AVAILABLE! Typically there are always slots available Monday and Wednesday evenings and Thursday mornings. Contact Kathy to check for openings. Make-ups can only occur during the current session.
We are not able to offer private lessons at RTB but can connect you with some qualified coaches that can. Email email@example.com if you are interested.

RTB Group Swims
Many team members swim throughout the week at the local athletic clubs with pools - most commonly the Covington LA Fitness and the Kent 24 Hour Fitness. If you're a team member wanting to meet up with other team members to swim, make some noise on the Team RTB Facebook page. Not in that group? Email us and we'll quickly add you.
