How does Perimenopause and Menopause Affect the Female Athlete?

Michelle Murphy, ARNP will be talking about the changes that women go through and specifically how this affects the female age group athlete.

The average age of menopause is 51 years old and the process our bodies journey through can take 15 years prior to the end of our cycles.

Menopause can happen naturally or surgically and the changes our bodies experience are profound and affect nearly every aspect of our lives, including the sport/s we love.  Come learn about what this means for ourselves, friends and family and what we can do to improve our performance and quality of life.

Open group forum with wine and appetizers.  Bring questions.

Date: Friday, April 29
Time: 6:30 PM Drinks and Appetizers, 7 PM Menopause Talk
Location: Patty Swedberg's Home
19621 SE 310th PL Kent, WA
