Outpatient PT Benefits

We are getting close to a 20-year partnership with Outpatient Physical Therapy. They are a tremendous resource!  OPT has eight clinics from Renton to Puyallup including the Pacific Northwest Sports Institute which specializes in injury treatment and prevention for athletes. They are right up your alley!

Log in and read below for your RTB benefits at OPT and the therapists they suggest you contact when something goes awry with your training or racing.

OPT Benefits

Free Injury Screens:
Sometimes, deciding whether to seek medical care is one of the most stressful aspects of an injury. We all let things go longer than we should because we don’t want to spend time and money on medical visits. Physical therapists at OPT/PNW Sports Institute help you streamline this process with free, 15-min injury screens. From nagging pains to recent injuries, we will help determine how urgent the issue is and what next steps will be best.

Call the clinic (253) 630-5808.  Tell them you are a member of Raise the Bar and you'd like a free injury assessment.  Please remember the goal of this assessment is to determine what you need to do next for diagnosis or treatment.

Reduced Rate Massages:
Persistent muscle pain can often be stopped - and prevented - with therapeutic massage. A massage is also a great addition to a taper or recovery week. For RTB athletes, we offer 60-minute massages for a discounted rate of $50.

To schedule a massage, contact these clinics

 Priority Scheduling
We understand that athletes cannot wait weeks to be seen. When you need ongoing treatment, we offer RTB athletes priority scheduling, ensuring that you do not lose precious weeks of training time lost in the uncertainties that come with injuries. Be sure and mention you are an RTB member when making an appointment.
